The theme I chose to work within is movement in the man-made world. The reason I selected this theme is because I’m most comfortable with street photography, so I felt confident that I would be able to find interesting subjects to photograph. Throughout this process I became more and more drawn to capturing vehicles. I took many of these photos with the driving sequence from Akira (1988) in mind.
