Inspired by Ousmane Sembene, the father of Africano cinema, I dream of creating films that both resonate and connect with the people.

I graduated from Alamosa High School with honors while at the same time I earned my Associates of Arts Degree from Adams State University. I am now attending the University of Colorado, Boulder and will graduate in May 2026 with a major in Media Production and a minor in Film Studies.

I was a former on-air host for Alamosa’s NPR-affiliated radio station, KRZA. At CU, I volunteer as a DJ and host for several shows under CU’s radio station KVCU. I am also an active member in the ‘United Mexican American Students y MECHA’ student group and am a writer for the independent Chicano newspaper ‘El Diario’.
